  • Memory Café helps people with dementia
    Twice a month, Immaculate Conception parish in Glenville is hosting what it calls a “Memory Café” for individuals or families living with memory issues.
  • Knotting cord rosaries keeps retiree busy
    For more than a decade, Nancy Krosky of St. Clare’s parish in Colonie has been making rosaries entirely out of nylon cord — no metal or glass included. Each “bead” of the rosary is formed by creating several knots; even the cross is created entirely of knotted cord.
  • Every month, parishioners of St. Henry’s Church in Averill Park gather in the parish’s community room to talk about how to have a healthy and safe lifestyle while living with diabetes.
