    COUPLES CELEBRATE the gift of marriage each year at the diocesan Marriage Jubilee celebration, held at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Albany.
    FUTURE DEACONS CELEBRATED the Rite of Admission to Candidacy for Holy Orders last weekend in a ceremony held at St. Joseph's Provincial House in Latham. In this rite, candidates offer themselves to God and the Church, an official recognition of a vocation.

    The legal flaws in the so-called “Medical Aid in Dying Act” assisted suicide legislation pose real dangers to the public and to vulnerable patients. In our view, there is no way to fix this legislation, and we will oppose any bill that would legalize physician-assisted suicide.
