  • 'CROSS TRAINING' IN CLIFTON PARK
PEOPLE WHO EXERCISE know that it helps their fitness level to periodically change up their workouts, trying different exercises. St. Edward the Confessor parish in Clifton Park just followed this principle when in comes to the faith of children, offering a summer "Cross Training Camp" with activities, Bible stories and music.
  • TEEN FAITH IN FOCUS AT JOGUES CONFERENCE

  • Diocesan youth rally targets middle-schoolers
Middle school is when young Catholics start to figure out faith for themselves. An upcoming youth rally specifically for sixth- through eighth-graders will be an opportunity to do that, in the context of high-energy music, breakout sessions on unusual topics and even a giant outdoor Jenga game.
  • The Catholic schools in my life
I entered kindergarten at St. Joseph's School in Amsterdam. Years later, when the carpet was pulled up to replace the worn one, there was the linoleum that my small feet had walked upon, printed with the letters of the alphabet and a rooster weathervane.
